This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

Before your session, I'll help with planning details like location, timing, and what to wear. If you have questions, just ask!

During your session, I will give gentle, clear direction so you always know what to do with you hands, where to stand, and how to move. Sessions are relaxed and conversational, with plenty of room for natural moments - nothing stiff of forced.

After your session, your images will be professionally edited and delivered in a private online gallery where you can download and share your favorites!

My goal is for you to leave feeling confident, cared for, and excited -- not overwhelmed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if the weather is unfavourable for an outdoor shoot?

Weather is always a consideration for outdoor sessions, and your experience is important to me. I closely monitor the forecast leading up to your session and will be in touch if weather becomes a concern. If rescheduling is needed, any retainer will transfer to a new date, and I'll help find the next available option that works for you. Light cloud cover or mild weather changes are often still beautiful for photos and may not require rescheduling. I'll always communicate clearly  so you can know what to expect! I value your input and preferences so let's work together!
