my life

“Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life”

These words by Confucius were the inspiration behind my very first blog post written on November 4, 2010.  On that day I chose to trust my heart and began to follow my dreams.   And although there are many things I could say I’m passionate about….golden retrievers, candy, college football, decor…I’m most passionate about creating meaningful images with my camera.  It’s just something that I have to do and I’m so grateful to do what I love.

To learn even more about my daily life just browse my personal blog posts.  I’m bound to mention my loving husband, Shai, our dog, Trooper, and our future daughter…or as I call her, “BabyB”.  And don’t forget to check out all of the fun things I didn’t mean to buy at Target!

my style

Clients have described my images as light, fresh, soft, and airy.  I love those words because they are a true reflection of my style and use of natural light…which I use 100% of the time.   I like to keep things simple and focus on capturing your child’s true personality in a beautiful and intimate way.  Family sessions are focused on evoking genuine moments of love and happiness.  I love shooting in natural landscapes and urban settings alike and will try to incorporate a bit of both during our time together.  Some of my favorite photos were taken during at home sessions…there’s no place more cozy and comfortable for your child.  Any posing that occurs is natural and is meant to provide direction and infuse some style into your images.

My most favorite moments can be found in my portfolio galleries.  Take a look to get a better feel for the types of images you can expect.

your portraits

The people that hire me are more than just clients…they’re the reason I get to do what I love each day.   I know the importance of a photo and strive to make every family’s images unique and meaningful…to them.
