The Shah Family

Sweet Baby Ava is now a super sweet one year old.

I can’t believe how big she is or how swiftly the last year has passed.  Having a daughter makes me realize more than ever how much I cherish photographs.

I’m so glad Ava’s parents feel the same way.

Love this series and this little spot I found : )

High fives for a job well done!

Blue Eyes

My Jane has the most beautiful blue eyes.  She uses them to speak to us and it’s clear that there is much to say.

Most often she tells us that she is curious and thoughtful.

But more and more we hear her saying that she’s happy, sweet…

And quite silly.

Love those blue eyes.

A week ago Wednesday

A week ago Wednesday I became a mother.  On that day, my husband become a father, Trooper became a brother, and our lives were changed forever.  Our daughter, Jane Flora, was born at 10:59am on February 15th.  She was 7 pounds 10 ounces of love, joy, and happiness.

She’s my dream come true.

We waited 10 months to conceive her and 40 weeks and 3 days more to meet her.  And now she is here.

She is sweet and sassy…laid back and curious…strong and gentle…all at the same time.

I’m excited and scared…but mostly, I am thankful.

She’s mine.  I love her.  Forever.

I am so happy that Baby Jane has made your dreams come true. She is adorable and so snuggable. Give her a kiss and sing her a song for me… and keep posting more about her. We all love reading about her. Xoxo.
